It's your birthday

Here's a really awesome birthday card/painting I received from a couple of students (last year). Yup, February has come and gone, and so has another birthday ...

I think it's incredible that some kids can get away with being openly gay in high school. Is it possible that society is becoming more accepting? Or do people just not give a crap about anyone else?

Yo, AP... Didn't know last weekend was your B-day. Send me an email and let me know what you did! Where did you go? I'd say, "Why didn't ya invite me?" But I'm not really anywhere nearby. Was it during the eclipse or the Leap Year Day?

Dude,

Were we in Denver on your Big Day? If so, you are a modest Mo Fo. When is the exact date so I can ensure you do not purchase another beer on your B-Day again.

Wasn't the point that they thought it was time for YOU to be openly gay???
Then again, who cares?
Anyway, Happy belated!!!!

Yeah, maybe they were telling me to end my misery and go gay. But ... this card was from a very openly gay, flamboyant boy and his friend. And I think it's cool that this kid could be so open about his sexuality and nobody bothers him about it. Well, except for his dad.
