For a moment, though,...I understand how you feel... For a moment, though, turn it around. Your job as a teacher is to enable the progress of the people around you. You are like a catalyst, triggering a chemical reaction but not changed or used up by it. (Though of course you are changed, it's just not as externally apparent.)<BR/><BR/>Your progress can be measured in part by their progress.
